Are ya motha****in ready?

For t3h new ****? That was a good song, admit it. Anyway, I took about 200 pictures today (that's 3/4 of a gig ) Needless to say they didn't all make it onto the comp, and the 60 that did aren't all here. Be happy for that.

I did something different today when I went out to shoot. I didn't take the kneel board I normally take to save my jeans, and I didn't take my tripod or said mount. Why? I didn't feel like it, and it really changed the way I work in some respects. I really had to work on how I sit to properly stabilize the longer lens I love to shoot when doing wildlife and such, in the end I was sitting with my heel against my ***, resting the lens on my knee

Anyway, I shot a couple of these with the shorter lens, and TRIED to go for a longer depth of field in one or two. If anyone's got any complaints about that, I have an explaination. The lens I have will only go down to about f5.6 at full zoom, so I usually bottom it out and up the shutter speed in a weak attempt to keep the speed high enough that my caffine-enriched shaky hold doesn't **** up the picture. All that **** aside, enjoy t3h p1xx0rz d00d3rh4tz.

I was trying to get them together, but the one took off at the last second. I was pissed at first but the final effect is so much damn cooler

Handheld, panning, 450mm lens, enough said Notice the water drops...

No big bragging explaination here... I just like the reflections

Another cool picture. Yes, I'm sexist about ducks, deal with it

And yeah, I posted it again. I decided that whenever I come up with a really nice set of pictures, it's getting it's own thread. If PS got it's own forum, may as well use it's new capabilities eh?

Only one I shot with the 42-105 (equivilant, anyway). It just... worked....

I like the mallards but wood ducks are sexier rofl

Most of those are pretty good but there are a couple reflections that kinda screw up the picture, but like 10x better than I can do, so I will not complain much

Nah, I didn't. Midget commented that it looked like a stuffed bird in a tree, but it's not. I just sharpened it after I resized so it would retain it's original sharpness.

And paintballdude, what reflections don't ya like? LMK and I'll see what I think, I don't see anything right now

LDBMX: Nothing, just to bug you for a while. Sucks you got hurt, take pics with t3h d2x?

Take some shots of the city at sunset or something. Urban type theme. Art doesn't have to have that "duck in the pond theme" Although, those are some damn good pics.

lol... You're out in the country and can't find anything to take a picture of?! You've gotta be kidding me, I'd KILL to be out in the nowhere like that r0x0rz 4 j00. Dude, seriously. Just walk out of your house, take your camera, and observe while you wander around. You find the neatest **** to take a picture of. Just find something nifty that looks cool, then look through the camera and find the very best way you can to present that to someone else. And there's your picture

lol you dont get it. there is like . . . no wildlife. there is a stream back in the woods... but a farmer owns it and he has a ****ing hissy fit if he catches you at it. either way, there is no wildlife at the stream anyway. all the trees have been ripped out for land development, and once again, there is no woods, except for where no one is allowed (the stream area)

so basically, i am in the center of about 50 1-5 acred lots with no trees. trust me. it sucks. ill take pics tomarrow in daylight just to prove how much it sucks here.

plus, it doesnt help that im surrounded by rich bastards in the CIA/FBI etc. who freak out when they see a camera (im seriously not kidding. People will hide if they see someone looking around with a camera). Basically, all i can take pictures of, are grass, a couple trees with big houses in the backround, and houses.

you aren't missing out, trust me.
