Dropforwards? Make 'em yourself!

Then you can decide how long they should be, and how much they should drop. Mine's just a piece of steel, painted it matching red color...

Well, the bottomline-adapter is the original one, that came with the M98, you just move it down and forward...

Mine came with the adapter already on it, and it also has another place for a gauge if you want to put it in. It's also removable. It's called the Psycho Ballistics Pro Style Drop-Forward.

FSU paintball and as-man im talking about the the drop that FSU paintball has on his gun. Is the asa on that df removable. I need to know this because I would need to mount a female stabilizer on it. I know im asking the same thing but your replies are different and confusing.

All dropforwards are stand-alone units. All they do is to move the (already mounted) ASA down and forward.

So YES, all bottomline-adapters are removable!

umm... some df's (like the new pb) come with asa's already on them, so it may not be removable as-man.

I'm going to get a pb drop forward and was wondering do i need to get an elbow or does it come with it? I'm ordering it from countypaintball.com if that makes a difference. Plus will a pb hold a 24oz tank ok?

If you're getting the new PB drop with the asa than you might go ahead and get an elbow. If you're gonna use the stock asa then you will definantly need one to make the sharp turn. As far as I know, neither come with the elbow.

And yes, it should hold a 24 oz fine. I know lots of people, myself included, that carry heavier N2 tanks with no problem.

Wait, what is your setup? Doesn't your current ASA already have the steel braided hose with a 90degree elbow on it?

Or do you have the ASA where it's a straight screw in on the front of the ASA?

If it's the second one, then yes, you will need a 90* elbow.
