My Egg mods.
The Battery door mod: Take a three hole length of metal ribbon w/ holes in it, and place it next on the back of the egg shells. the bottom one should be on the middle of the back side of the battery cover; the top should be angled toward teh left shell, right in the middle of the left shell. Mark these holes and drill. Put the ribbon back on and take two screws, and put these in the upper and lower holes. This should keep you battery door closed.
The lid lip mod: Take a Bic lighter and heat up the middle of the upper edge of the lid until it is soft and moldable. Use the rounded broad side of the lighter and push the soft lid plastic from the inside out to the back of it. This will make a great lip to grab onto.
Okay, I tried to get pics but they didn't come out well so I'll have to do it again and hopefully have better luck...
But I will try to explaing this a thoroughly as possible w/ pics...
I had two EGG battery doors break on me and I got really annoyed! And tape on a loader is just ghay..
So this is what you need to know and do to fix it and it will only cost you four bucks @ the most...
You will need:
Two 9V baltery connectors w/ the positive and negative leads... You can get a four pack @ RADIO SHACK for about $1.90..
Solder...
Heat shrink...
Okay, for those who don't know red is positive and black is negative. Now the power for the EGG II is wired in series, what this mean is that the power flows from one bater into the next and then into the loaders control board, in other words the negative of the first batery to the positive of the second and so on in a chain positive to negative and then positive too negative till you have enough batteries inplace to get the desired voltage out of your chain of batteries...
So for the EGG, it runs off of 18 or so volts... Now remove the little battery connector board from the EGG, cut the black and red wires off the board (cut them close to the board so that you have a decent length or wire from the connector that goes to the loaders circuit board).
Once you have that out and just the two leads w/ the connector you need to take one of the 9v connectors red (positive) lead and solder it to the red (positive) lead of the connector from the EGG, don't forget to put the heat shrink on before you solder the wires together.
Now take the black (negative) lead from the 9v connector that you just soldered to the EGG connector's red lead and solder it to the red (positive) lead of your second 9v connector.
Once that is done solder the black (negative) lead from the second 9v connector to the black (negative) lead of the EGG connector.
Reassemble the EGG and your good to go and no more broken battery door...
Also you might want to put a small piece of foam inside the egg and that will put a little pressure on the battery door that won't break it but keep it closed....
The velcro mod: This is for people who have no lid springs and their lid will not stay closed. Put some rough velcro face up on the upper part of the loader. Take some soft and place it face down on the lid, so it hangs over and velcros to the rough stuff.

we have just intellifeeded an egg2 as of last night, it's working pretty good, but i'd like to get more field testing done before i am satisfied...
we will add it to our website for RIOTFEEDing...
right now we take the board out, still use 2 9volts, and we are going to figure out soe speed mods for this thing...whether it be cleaning out the gears, snipping all but the 2 paddles that are in a straight line...or whatever we figure out...i love experimenting...hehe...power to us

yes it is called the ultimate forcefeed egg mod. google pbnation and ultimate egg mod and you will find it. the main issue with the mod is for the cost it jams quite a bit. I am currently rebuilding the mod to make it better I will post on that thread when I am done.

bypassing the eyes/sound activation and using either a trigger switch or a pin on the marker's board to close the circut and cause the hopper to feed.

Idk where to ask this, or if there is a thread for it already but I have a vlocity and it feeds extremly slow. Like no more than 13 bps in the fastest setting. Ive heard it was a problem with the earlier batchs, given the tearm ghosting or something? Idk, any way to solve this, any adjustments that can be made to get it back to its maximum preformance. Once again, sorry if there is alreadu a thread on this, ive been looking but couldnt find anything. Thanks.
