$$***PPC Under new ownership!!!!!***$$

Not sure if anyone knew about this or not, but it happened a lil while back. All the remaining PPC (Paintball Players Club) have been sold and are really trying to make a comeback. They are now known as Players Edge.

PPC back in the early days used to be a great store to go to and get just about anything you needed at a fair or good price. With bad business deals and poor leadership (excluding Eddie and Rick) the chain of stores quickly went down the drain. If you wanted air soft guns, CO2 or a T.E.S. you were in luck. However the experienced tournament player strapped with a Bob Long gun, Angel or an E-Cocker was S.O.L. when it came to his needs.

Brighter days are near and in some cases already here. The remaning stores (The Block, La Mirada, Lake Forrest, Huntington, Santa Ana and one near SD I think) have been rearranged or remodeled and are now being stocked with what most of us might take interest in. Profilers, CP and Hybrid Tech parts can now be found in stock as well as many others. From what I hear it's only gonna get better. They have always offered tech service at a reasonable price and will continue to do so. They are sending employees to WDP certification in the coming weeks.

Just a little news, I know a few guys that still work for these stores and I don't want to see business suffer because of all the BULL that happened before. Stop by when you get a chance and take a look at the changes going on. I highly recommend the store at The Block in the OC. Go hang out with Matt Zahn (player/tech/manager) and watch vids in a nice lounge area with big screen and all.

I hope that the store by the Block is better now.

I was not impressed the time I went in there.

Yeah it was best when Eddie was there, Mark took his place. He's a good tech. Then it went all Air Soft.

Eddie is still around, he just finally moved up. He managed the so. cal stores for PPC, not sure if he still does the same for the new owners. Marc is a really good guy. I often go into the LF PPC to say hi to him and nick leatherwood.

the mira mesa store got alot of stuff in and the prices are about normal. paint prices are pretty good, cheaper than velocity by like 5 bucks. They got alot of new stuff in there, and they'll price match velocity or any other store ( i got them to price match my cp reg) not internet though...does any store do that ?

Yeah it was nice to see Eddie moving up you an usually find him at the Block store. Kinda like HQ now. Deffinitely one of the few that actually cared about tourney players(being one himself). Really good people working for them now.
