is this true, my cousin went to pinnical paintball, and they said you are not allowed the c4 jerseys because they have too much padding or something. pinnical woods is having a tounry is a couple weeks and they said the c4 is not allowed. wtf is this? is this true? PLEASE let me know ASAP! oh and also, CO paintball said something similar i guess unless my cousin is a friggin retard and heard them wrong. (i know you wont know pinnical and co unless your from ohio or know otherwise )

ummmmm....Call up pinnacle paintball. I'm not sure if the major tourney circuits banned the C4, but a few did ban the 2003 Dye Core jersey because of padding.

yeah i guess its just a NPPL rule but other tournys may allow it. pinnical i heard just follows the NPPL rules like every corner of them. oh well, i got a empire now thats cool

i wear yellow core jerseys with the padding still in them to my field and local tournies and they dont care, but yes i have heard of the dye jerseys with padding bieng a problem now...

Clothing and Padding

Concerning the legality of padding in jerseys. The question is whether or not playing Jersey ’s have too much padding. Currently the NPPL is doing research to determine whether or not padding give a competitive advantage or gives the player more protection for sliding or multiple hits.

(The Dye C4 jerseys will be allowed however, due to the additional layer incorporated into the jersey, the jersey will count as 2 layers and the player will not be allowed to wear any additional layer of underclothing.)

This decision was made September 9, 2004 by the Rules Committee in Las Vegas and the Dye C4 Jersey’s will be allowed at the 2004 Las Vegas and San Diego events.

if that is true, that is one of the stupidiest rules i've ever heard. Cause then, if they're going to be using that logic, shouldn't they ban maxipads? cause those can make paintballs bounce too. O and yea, shouldn't they make fat guys quit, cause a paintballs can bounce off them.
