i was wondering what is different out in asia than it is from the us??

hi...uhm paintball in the philippines is slowly starting to pick up steam...hopefully it grows even more.

there is a team out from thailand that joined their first ever tourney (outside thailand) in europe and they came in third. i think they played div3 xball. one of the players posts here regularly.

from checking out various forums in countries all around asia...it seems that australia and new zealand are heading the way..but other countries like Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Korea, Philippines and Malaysia are catching up pretty fast.

lets hope it gets even bigger.

paintball is definitely picking up...we just concluded our 1st Asian Paintball Invitational Cup here in Manila last Sept. By next year we'll be having the 2nd Asian Cup in Malaysia. So there actually a "renaissance" of paintball going on in the Asean countries. Even Indonesia proved to be a very exhausting team to beat...I'm proud to be Asian, beaming to be Pinoy and just pumped up to promote paintball!!!

yup, i'm a member of the thai national paintball team that competed in the campaign cup - and we did pretty awesome!
