Does the Tippmann LP kit actually come with a milled valve/powertube or just a lighter valve spring? If it's just the spring, would Tippmann just send those out for people to do themselves along with the rear bolt drilling?

Thats a great question Dyoel182. I have the Psycho Ballistics electro kit installed on my gun including the PB low pressure valve internals. I would love to know if the Tippmann lp valve just has a different spring. If that is the case I just need to get a Low pressure chamber and vert adapter with t-fitting. But if the valve is milled out I may consider getting one. Right now I run at about 500 psi, any lower and I get noticable shoot-down at high rates of fire. I have the dwell set very low as per the Psycho Ballistics tuning recomendations but have found my gun to work more efficiently with the dwell set about halfway. If anyone has any low pressure tips for the Em-98 please let me know. Thanks

Low pressure tips for EM98:

1. A good non-ported 12in. barrel.(I suggest LAPCO)
2. PMI Pure Energy 2001 (Thor) Regulator.
3. LAPCO Dual adapter
4. Good high flow preset nitro tank.(Pure Energy or Crossfire seem to work realy well.)

When installing the regulator, screw the dual adapter where the tank would screw in. This is where the Rock reg. will go that runs the ram pressure. By running it this way, there is always a constant supply of air (800-850psi.) going to the Rock reg. The velocity of the gun now can be adjusted by the 2001 reg. Just make sure that the adjuster on the side of the gun is backed all the way out.

Newer 98's with the plastic power tubes will adjust as low as 300-350psi at around 285fps. If you have the older aluminum power tube, you can go as low as 250psi at 285fps.
250psi is where I run mine at right now.
