there may be 2 springs in the frame. the Sear Spring, then a Trigger Return Spring. the trigger return spring is just a bent piece of metal. if you remove that, then just the sear spring would be used to return the trigger to it's original position. i did it with my frame soon ater i got it and have never had a problem. give that a try first. if it's still too heavey, then get a sear spring kit
