Beware of the new RP

Just wanted to let everyone know to be careful if you plan on using any of the new R.P. Schere paintballs(the Advantage) I used one guppie of All Star and within about 50 shots my low power light on my hopper came on. I figured my hopper must have died because of a low batter and thats why my paint wasn't feeding. Well after the game I was checking the battery power when I noticed that there was a ball wedged inbetween the body of the hopper and one of the blades. I guess the new stuff is softer and able to get caught in there, well needless to say it wasn't the battery but my motor had burned up. So I just want to make sure you all know to watch out for this new stuff. I found that bending the blades helps but isnt a permenet fix.

Hope you guys dont lose a good hopper like I did.

Thats the least of the worries. We played a tourney where we shoot the new marbs. They now do not have the oil coating, and every box we opened sweelled up to almost 2x the original size. This stuff sucks

I notice the swelling thing too. I guess we all have a use for those bigger bore sizes.

My team shot 4 cases of it at a tournament on sunday without any problems. I didn't hear any complaints from anybody else using it there either. I like it a lot.

Yeah, they tend to get jammed when your hopper, especially when it's full. The rough textured shell just makes it so much easier for the balls to get stuck between the blades and the rough texture of the revvy shell. I've also noticed that the Allstars tends to be a lot more bouncier than before. The only "advantage" I've noticed is the slightly increased accuracy. This is important when half the tournaments we enter use limited paint format.

I used ½ case of both the new marb and the premium. I didn’t notices any problems.

JD had the ball slip under the paddles also. It sucked and caused many blankshots and many missed eliminations. Steven also bounced 6 off a dude's lens when he came to bunker Steven. He bounced 3 off a guys lens last tournament. This paint is HORRIBLE. Especially in hot weather. It is even more sensitive to heat and humidity than a normal shell type paintball. I do NOT recommend this paint to anyone....

from other people they say the paint is very brittle and shoots like a dream. i know that there were some batches that are very thick and really suck. I shot a very thick shelled batch i hit a guy 6 times before on broke. and it was very resistant ot humididty i left one of my bags open all day didnt have a problem with swelling and i live in florida but it was a hard paint to wipe i know now that all the problems are gone its a very good paint.

Last week at practise 5 cases were shot and not a single comlaint from any of us(9)

It had a pretty high bounce factor,but When i got bunkered a couple times they broke...and never had a goggle bounce...thats messed
