Just wondering if there is such a thing as an aftermarket board or chip made for the Eblade 1 or E2 ? ? ? And if so, who makes it ?

other than Eclipses Zero-B Board for the E1 which will allow E1 users to have all the benefits as E2 owners without buying a new frame. other than that no company like WAS produces aftermarket boards.

Planet is tenitively planning a late November to early December release for the Zero B and the Breakbeam eyes should hopefully come just a little sooner...E2 grips should be available very soon and the new enclosed front solenoid assembly should be in that Nov-Dec time slot also...this is all tenitive at this point and subject to change...

the Zero B boards will retail for $150

E2 triggers will not work in E1 frames, so you'll need to get a samurai if you want something different

So here's my question, will the new E2 eyes go in the same place the E1 eyes went?

how about the LCD. Is there a way to get the LCD onto the E1. Will there be any features at all left out with the Z boards???? Will the E1 now be as battery efficient as the E2???

No E1 upgrades for cup on less Planet was able to free up some new grips which is doughtful.

At present, the break beam eye will utilize the existing reflective eye holes...

the LCD will be incorporated in the new ZB board along with most of the new feature present on the E2,
While the ZB will greatly increase the battery life of the E1, it will be limited by the old sear solenoid design and slightly by the E1 cocking solenoid so the E1 will not be as battery efficient as the E2

could you use an E2 solenoid with an E1?

No you would have to modify the sear and possibly the sear solenoid plunger shaft....
