newbie question (ahem)

okay first of all this is for a friend of mine...

i have a stock black 2k1 LCD and i'm wondering how the hel* do you get the dam* feed tube out?!?!

i know it just screws out but CRIPES i can't budge it! i don't want to go at it with a wrench or anything because i don't want to damage the gun...

...argh! help!


...silly newbies...hehehe...ahem...

this is for your "friend" lol
the threads have lock tite on them so you have to put it in a vise or pliers or something you'll end up scratching the feed tube but if your looking to replace it it shouldnt matter much anyways.

It also helps to heat it up with a hair-dryer first.

Also, before you go wrenchin' on it....wrap it up it up in electrical tape first, then put a thick leather glove over that. That should keep it from getting all scratched up

NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! DON'T LISTEN TO THEM! Just go to Sears and buy a $5 strap wrench. It will save you a lot of headaches and it will also help getting a reg or two off in your lifetime.

I plan on buying a strap wrench, because they're hella cool, but in the mean time, grab your mousepad, turn it around to the grippy side (not the side you put the mouse on) and twist REAL hard. It works great.
