In trying to help understand, I'm taking a few minutes to explain. I thought Arnold had gone mad when he made the decision. There was no "love" for us and it pissed me off. I flat out told him that his decision to increase prices pissed me off. There was nothing he could do, it was a last ditch effort and it failed. Do some math with me for a sec:

30 people per day @ $30.00 a head = $900 per day.
$900 x 30 days = $27,000

$27,000 per month BAIRLY pays for rent, forget about insurance and salaries. This is the reason indoor fields come and go. Its NOT Kens fault, its NOT Arnolds fault and after sitting down and having a "chat by the fire" with Arnold, I realized the field would NEVER run smoothly and it was always going to be a problem.

NOW, lets talk about the players. 99% of the people who went to the indoor on a regular basis are like family to me now. I've seen everybody grow from a player to a baller. I've seen amazing games and the memories of those games will stay in my brain for ever. I can remember the day when the kids would have to pick up paint to play and how they eventually started buying paint and there game improved, heh. These memories are all we have left of TPG and truthfully, the field gave us what we REALLY needed. It gave us the opportunity to bond in a way that most other places would not. We are all good friends because of the place and even if "another" field does not replace it, that does not effect friendship.

So be upset, cuz I am. BUT also think, the field could NEVER have happened and you wouldn't ever had the fun you had for almost the last 2 years. I'm happy that Arnolds happy. I'm happy that Ken's moving on to bigger and better things. And I'm happy that you guys are not quitting because of this. Stay on the horse, we'll find a new home with new challenges. Sometimes life throws you a curve ball and this one was unexpected but live moves on.

Thanks for the moment...
Are you still upset?

If your speaking about proving grounds in Santa Clarita, I was there today and spoke with the owner. It's not closing. If anything, he's investing more money into the field and lowering the playing prices.
