I set mine around 400psi with CO2. (Knock on Wood) I haven't had any problems. Just remember to clean your marker completely and use oil.

Ok, I set it to 250 and it is working reall ygood, the dropoff appears to be good- and the gun has a deeper sexier shooting sound. I have to woder, will lowering the pressure of the gun hurt it? will it give me more shots? what will lowering the pressure do!?

You might want to fire a few consecutive times. 250 is aweful low and could end up hurting the recharge rate and recocking ability.

I shot a lot of times, and the pressure didnt fall enough to hurt the dropoff... now any ideas what lowering the pressure will do other then give it a deeper sound?

As long as consistence is good, you might save a little air.

lowering pressure will decrease fps, ahve less kick, and possibly a little quieter. It wont hurt the gun, unless it's too low and the gun cant recock, you'll experience the 'burping' and wear your sear down.

Depending on teh air flow though, with such a low pressure you might not be able top obtain the desired FPS.

my current is set to about 370. I'm using the white (weakest) spring.

...thats highly unlikely...
where u eyeing it? or did u have it at a chrono?

and extra 550 PSI from 250 will have a lot more power...and extra 550 psi behind the ball?

and theres not set PSI for u to operate it at...different parts give u different settings, you have 2 sweetspot ur reg

you need to dryfire it 10-15 times before the reg gets settled in at the new setting
