latest update on the hyper excali,s

well here the latest update..talked to larry agien today.
cant say enough good things about that guy, anyways the machine that does the custom milling is being freed up later today (monday) and he,s going to get cracking on it. also Ive called a few people on the highrise and Im going to be bidding the job out later this week. Weve decided to do the trigger like the eclipse ones..the bar trigger..were going to put a little hook in the bottom of it though to add some class and thin it out a bit. and were probly going to be making an adjustable rock nob for the front of the gun as well.. hopefully by next week we,ll have the 1st gun. by monster game at the latest. Ive recieved alot of e-mail on it so It,ll probly be sold pronto.
agien thanks guys for the support and input it has ben very valuable to me.
I need a name for these things too...people keep thinking were hyper sport works... and I cant call them some *** name like the "lance-alot excalibur" or the " the grail gun"" ..brings to mind monty python to much....well maybe the grail... but still..would you really want to play with a gun called the grail!
somone give me a spiffy name for these things... maybe I,ll give some prize away or somthing...

Smile Tempest would be cool

Tempest would be cool! That used to be one of my favorite video games, or am I dating myself to much?

Please tell me there are some people here that remember that game when it was cool.

The name 'Tempest' has been used before by Palmer. I think you need something original that hasn't been used before.

Thumbs up

I think if you add an external adjustment knob on the LPR you should see if you can get one with a nylon insert to make sure it won't back out with vibration.

As far as names, lemme think about it for a bit.

If you do an LPR knob then it must be lock downable or it will not be tourney legal. Adjusting the LPR pressure can affect the velocity of the gun.

manike

p.s. making it lockable will also stop it backing out under vibration as per styles' concerns.

Yes, to be honest I don't really see the need for an externally adjustable LPR knob. Just something else people will mess with and get their gun out of whack.

Here are some names I came up with. I guess you can put "Excalibur" behind most of them:

Legend
Elite
Glory
Minion
Eternal
Havoc
Justice
Illusion
Triumph
Ultra
Gothic
Doom
Doomsday
Bloodlust
Anarchy
Denial
Faith
Endgame
Blessed
Flux
Mirage
Equinox
Epic

That's all for now.

well were going with the tempest triggers and highrise. I think I nailed that deal down last night. found a guy to make them.
were looking at a fang kind of 2 finger trigger thats a bit thinner with a hook at the bottom. so It wasnt in vain.
this is funny, a gun for the people ,bye the people but not free to the people..
keep em coming guys..I hope to have another update later today

I think it should be the name of an animal or a cool word. Like Swordfish, Shark, Jaws, Wolf, Snattle rake, Python, Tic, Poodie, Sonic, Ace, Saga, Hook, Ice, Smoke, Koala, Dingo, Rat, Tiger, Snow, JackRabbit, Boa, Gator, Croc, Furious, Fury, Sharp.

There is my sad list.

Letters would also be cool. Like CPT, MDA, LCT,.....maybe not.

I would have stuck with something sword like...

Damascus
Damacles
Razor Edge
Rapier
Claymore
Crusader
Flamberge (sword of flame)

There are quite a few swords that were named throughout history and in fiction.

Tempest is often used in paintball, from the team Tempest (See www.g3pb.com) to an old pump gun... and I seem to remember a "Tempest trigger system" from someone (I think it was Craig Palmer's auto-response tirgger for the Balzer).

Why didn't AKA just do the triggers and feed tubes?

Anyways, as far as the name goes, it's kinda hard describing a sword. I mean, you need like a definitive noun or an adjective to add to it. I like something that makes it seem like a mightier Excalibur, such as Epic, Ultra, Legend, or Elite Excalibur. I also thought of Envy Excalibur, but that is kinda taken too.

A Jenna Jameson version would be nice, though. (insert ball joke here)

aka didnt want to do anymore custom stuff..as it was having them do this was like pulling teeth.
Plus I dont want all my eggs in one basket. Right now I just want the proto type to get done. larry left a message on the store machine today and said he should have some designs done by the end of the week. Im just wondering how many of these things I,ll be able to push out..Its kinda scary ..I want to get alot of them but thats going to cost me an arm and a leg and If they dont sell then Im screwd.
anyways..as always keep,em coming
