was ur paint deadly?

well... event #5 was quite an expirience to say the least and I was just wondering if your teams had as much problems with the paint as we did. We started out with 5 cases of cyclone and damn was it gay. On top the already very brittle shell the cold in the early morning just made it impossible for any gun to shoot it. After much frustration and wasted paint we finally traded our cases in for hurricane and later for temptest and however much better it was it was still like a blender in our guns. And I cant blame the guns because everyone was doing it on our team with such a wide variety of guns you just wouldnt think possible. From 03 shocker, Dye trix, many ebladed cockers, dragun timmy, to just about every model of Angel since the Ir3 we were all oozing paint out of our barrels. Im not complaining or anything and i know that it was due to factors out of the runners of the event's control but i was just curious if any other teams had the same problems.

We had many problems with the Cyclone, but when we went up to the table, some guy said, bring it all up, pods and all, we will trade it out for you and give you the price difference back in cash.. We brought back loose paint and he took it back with no questions and we shot the Hurricane... Shot fine for us in shockers and angels. we ended up only dumping 500 rounds and he even gave us extra than what we turned in..That was really cool of him to do it.

Its Severe, what do you expect? Although I didnt have a problem with my pimp DM4. But I had more barrel breaks than I like to come across.

The problem is the occasional eggs in every bag. The paint shot straight, and seemed to break good, but in almost every bag, there's a few totally mis-shaped balls that F up your fun.

Just my input.

Yeah we had problems with it also. We(Tsunami Blue) were playing one game and I think we were all cleaning our guns at the same time, not good. Oh well I kept the paint after for practice anyways cuz Im cheap.

After it warmed up we had no problems with the Cyclone, but we (Iron Flag) were all using .695 bore.

In the morning it was ver iffy and had several barrel breaks.

One bad thign was that every few balls, there was a larger ball and it woudl cause a speed spike, so I was running at 270, in case I got Chronoed and had one of those big balls.

Yeah we trading all 5 cases of cyclone after our first game, and traded it for the hurricane which seemed to work a lot better, but hey its still SEVERE paint which made me cry. My viking really didnt have any problems till somehow i was slipped a tube of cyclone, and then back to blending and barrel swabbing. Which then i cried after that game for 15mins until my teammate gave me a hug and told me there isnt anymore cyclone left.

Well if you can't pay for any other kind of paint "you get what you pay for" isn't really valid, especially when the "higher grade" paint is having just as much problems as the lower grade. I'm not sure if this thread is a flame or not but I'm treating it more as constructive criticism.

When you drop paint from 5 feet and it splatters all over the place, I consider that fragile. Which is what the paint was doing Sunday morning. Cold weather willl make any paint "more" fragile". And sunday morning was COLD. maybe no NY cold. But it was cold enough for us PA folks.
The cheaper stuff is bounce heaven.
