Talking BD E-2 Rear Cocking Rod Removal

Hi everyone, I'm new!

I'm upgrading my bolt to a white wolf telfon impregnated
one and need to remove the connecting rod and rear cocking
rod. Are these secured by loc-tite? Do I need to heat them
up? Should I use a blow dryer or a Torch? Thanks for the
info. I also want to get a ACI Turbo Valve and Madman
spring kit

- Sam

PS - It's nice to have a popular forum just for the PI series
markers!

Yes, all of mine were red-loctited in place. Use a blower to heat it up, then use a little elbow grease and it should break free--hopefully before you strip the screw head!

Lock Tit removal and other tip

Hi C
two tips i have found to work very well when removing lock Tite
boil water in a kettel once boiled pour over area ,this will loosen any lock tite and won't damage the ano ,as any very high heat will damage the ano and change the colour .
2nd tip to lock screws in place put lock tite on screw them add
teflon tape/thread tape/ plummers tape, then screw into marker
the screw never come loose and when you want to loosen use the abouth method to loosen them two .
