Speed ball barrel

Hey everyone, I usualy play in the woods and im getting a cocker and im gonna be playing back on a speed ball team with my friends. I was wondering if I should invest in a longer barrel? like 14 or 16 inches? or should I just stay with 12?

why 12 with co2 and 14 wit n20? Anyways its ure personel prefence. 12 is absolutely perfect for speedball. All my barrels are 12 and 10s. I just like it short. First it saves gas for effiencey cus longer the barrel the more gas it needs to be pushed out. 14 and 16inch barrels are too long for me. I like to tuck in tight.

Cool Overkill?

so my 20in barrel on my spyder with a vigi reg and n2 is overkill? theres no such thing as over kill! and please, be lax on the flames with this one, IT JUST LOOKS COOL! and slightly intimidating to those that rent

Well most N2 tanks dont get more then a 20oz of c02 which is really gay. those 48/48 ones will give u about 400shots and then once u get up to 68/45s and 114/45s ull get about 1200 shots wit them but most those tanks r 200++

I just want to clear up a few things to you guys.

n2 will not get you more shots than co2 will all of the time.

n2 is not more accurate the co2.

A longer barrel will not give you more range

A longer barrel is not necesarily more accurate then a shorter barrel

A shorter barrel improves gas efficiency.

I saw a couple people recently make these mistakes and I just wanted to clear some things up.

Thanks,
Alec

my 45/45 on my bm cocker got me about 700-800 shots similar to a 68/3. my 68/45 maxflo gets me around 1200 on a full 45 fill. i have no idea how much a 114/45 but the weight, man you would be better off with a remote scuba of course as with any gun and air system your mileage will vary

U made a mistake too, HPA is more accurate then c02 because its more consintent, and the more consintent it is, the more accurate it is.

You are incorrect. This is simply because you cannot prove to me beyond a reasonable doubt that %100 of the time HPA will be more consistant then co2.

Now, let's take another consideration. Let's assume I am running a MaxFlow reg with a 20 oz co2 tank.

Now, my friend on the other side of the field has his big, bad Crossfire n2 tank. I'll bet you 4 out of every 5 times I will be more consistant.

Your not being fair,If the c02 gets a good reg, so does the hpa tank. I have an impulse which has the maxflo, i have a 20oz with anti-s and my bulldog. My bulldog is more consitent then my co2, but if we;re talking co2 with a maxflo, and a HPA with just a reg, then in some cases c02 can be more consintent, buts theres also maxflo tanks, and other good tanks like the flatlines, centerflags, conquests n ect.

i meant like if the co2 gets a maxflo then hpa gets a maxflo, and so on, even with that hpa is more consinent because it doesnt let ANY gas into the gun as will the c02 might get liquid into the gun which decreases accuracy and consinetasy

if you dont have that much of money i would prefer to go with the bigshot, Stealth, or the tear drop cause i think they are the best for that type game.....
