Unhappy help with vlm body

Hi guys, i just bought a vlm body and was told by Aka that everything in my old 98 cocker is transferable. I found that I needed a new mini timing rod and mini ram pump arm. Now I find that I don't know what the hell kind of hammer I should put in b/c I can't get the 98 cocker's hammer to fit. There is no velocity screw groves. What should I use? Thanks again in advance.

It's true that the 98 full length pump arm and timing rod won't work on a mini body. The internals will work but you need an old Nelson type velocity adjuster. The adjuster is held in by the screw that holds the beavertail on. The AKA hammer kit works perfectly with the VLM body.

I use an ACI kit with ShockTech hammer in my VLM, no problem.
