Led VS. Lcd

i have picked out a sweet led i am saving up for, but a friend says that lcd's shoot a lot better and smoother. i have shot a few lcds and they shoot very nicely, how does an led shoot compared to it?
better? worse?
can you just give me a few reasons why one is better than the other. thanx a lot i appreciate it.

well..

here are my thoughts. First, both guns kick bootay. thats a given. But i have noticed a few differences between them. i have never owned an LED, but a close friend does.i have used it many times, and even borrowed it for a month on one occasion. i now own an LCD, an i would take my LCD over that LED any day. The biggest difference i noticed was sound. the LCD i have shoots a bit quieter than the LED. Also, when i was shooting the LED, the gun had more kick on it's shots. my LCD has almost no kick to it. The speed of the guns was exactly the same, and, although i have heard that LCDs get more shots out of a tank then an LED, i didint notice any difference at all in that one. The LED and LCD i used got the same number of shots off the tank. All in all, the LCD was not as loud, and was a little smoother than the LED. Both are great guns though! i like the LCD more, just cuz i can fiddle with the electronics in it. its all up to you though!

leds

i shot my cobra led against a bunch of lcd's and it preforms the same. the quietness it the same (well mine was a lil more quiet than one that had a stock barrel because i had a boomer)

i dont have any kick-back on my gun

leds actually can shoot faster than lcd's and with leds you dont pay extra for know how much time is left in the game or a shot counter because your too dumb to figure out about how much you shot.

my leds shoots just as accurate, as fast, as quiet and looks better than some lcd's out there

double trigger

razor hmm i think you can do a cheaper mod to a led than buy a whole frame.

get any double trigger for a angel and get a dye fang trigger gaurd.

cut the single trigger thing around the trigger and you should know what to do from there

Thumbs up

Thats what i did. Trigger guard is in the pic to the left. It would not upload the big one...but you can probably see it.

BTW
I love my LED... i was thinking about selling it and then getting a LCD but I said why? And just stuck with it.

AKA might still have some LED 2x frames. I like the looks of my frame and eclipse guard better. The LED does have a bit more kick in my experiance but its not really noticible, in fact I view it in a perfectly positive light. With its small amount of kick it has a large trigger sweet spot, you can bounce it into a quasi-FA effect with hardly any effort. The first time I shot my gun I got pulled by a ref to check if I was in FA (I wasnt). That was the first time i'd fired a true high end marker in a game and the first electromarker i'd ever fired, thats how easy it is.

Not sure on this point... but arent the LCD's a tad longer than the LEDs or did they make up the extra space used by the bolt somewhere else.

You can still get AKA double trigger frames at Professional Paintball. I was just there and they have a few in their display case.

dont count on AKA having the double trigger frames much longer.. i talked to them 2 weeks ago and they only have 6 nickel ones left in stock and they said they will be getting no more frames in.. if you dont like the look of the added trigger guards do what i did.. mill a notch in the front of the frame (where the old trigger guard was) and take a k&k after market guard, mill off the block at the end and attach it to the frame with a screw.. its a real clean look and you dont have the bulk in front of the trigger. the pic can kinda give you an idea how it works

They are the exact same gun performance. I have 2 LEDs and an LCD. No kick or sound diff. The only thing differnt is that the LCD has that screen on the side of the grip and THATS IT.

Anyone that tells you one is better than the other is really ignorant and should shut the hell up, they just want to promote the gun they own.

I have had two of each. Both are great. You really cant go wrong. Very little difference if any. (I personally like the little blinking light in the back of the leds and the newer adrenalines...but that's just me)
