Evo Bolt n' others
I notice that the boss has bolts listed specifically for evos. What is the difference between the evo bolt and other flush cocking bolts?
I'm looking for a new bolt and want to make sure I get the right one.

non evo = one detent. So the evo bolt has two grooves in it.

So how many bolt options do I have? I see things that say "works with all piranhas", but those probably have what, one groove?

Aside from the Evo bolt I'd assume all others have one slot. I bought a Tigershark bolt with one slot and added a second one myself.

A lot of people and companies don't know much about the Evo. They may not have realized that it has two. If you really want to, you can always just take one detent out. Of course then certain force-feed loaders, like Halos and the Q-loader, may not work .

I know this is long from when this was posted, but you can get an evil bolt, you just have to machine it to fit the secondary ball detent, i have friend and i'm gonna see if his dad can machine it for me.....just a thought

Yes you could do that, but the Evil bolt is less efficient, and that would take a lot more work. You also risk screwing your bolt up that way.

Actually no. The shocktech bolt is half aluminum and weighs a good bit more than an all delrin bolt. Thereby increasing the reciprocating mass, and decreasing efficiency.
