Bolt issue

I was wondering if anyone else had noticed jams due to the rollback with a Halo? I was fine tuning a bit, always looking to perfect the setup, and notice the paint I was using, PMI prem., would roll back allowing another ball to be pushed down in front of the breeched ball. I havent noticed it to be a problem AS MUCH with my Revvie, but still an issue. My question is, what ideas could I try to fix this? Im thinking of cutting an O-ring slot inside the front of the bolt face. Any ideas, suggestions or modifications to anything youve read would be nice.

No you dont understand. The ball rolls Backwards not forward. The detents wont help with this issue. As I said, the breeched ball rolls backwards and the next ball wedges the breeched ball back against the bolt. Im thinking with an o-ring 1/16 or so from the face of the bolt, would act like the Foamys did for the Automags.

The bolt opening being roughly 13mm and PMI prem. being about 15mm. That being said, the ball can roll back about 5mm. Doesnt sound like alot but when youre using a force-fed hopper is too much play in the breech for brittle tourny paint.

i think the o-ring on the inside might cause enough turbulance in the air to do some funky stuff (or not?). i'd hate for you to ruin a bolt, but if you're particular on that paint then i guess you have no choice but to try. maybe some sort of netting drawn tought (not too tight though) across the face? *shrug*
