Magnetic return

Who else has magnets to return their trigger? And how do you like them? Also what switch are you using?

I had warped install some in my Mephy (I also have a 25g switch) and well, my stock twister frame w/stock switch and w/o spring is lighter, so is my stock 2k2 angel pull w/o spring.

Now I want a light trigger, but not so light it will fire when the gun shakes and fun stuff like that. But I was wondering if it would just be best to get the magnets removed, or get lighter magnets? I was kinda wondering if there were any magnets that were light enough that the weight added to the pull wouldn't be that much. Warped said he would fix it for me when we meet up and play on the 29th so I was looking for what other people think.

if you dont want the gun to go off when it shakes dont take the springs out. if you can find some put lighter magnets in. my mephy has a 25g switch without a spring or magnets and anytime the gun shakes it goes off. but suprisingly i dont really have any bounce at all.

I have both magnet return and no spring return, and of the two I like the no spring return the best.

The magnet return is very, very, very nice!!!

But I personnally like the No spring version.
I don't have problems with the gun going off when I shake it, like skellington states. I use the marker all the time without a spring and it works great!!!!

Yes it is very sensitive, and I am thinking about making one marker with the stock spring just for woods/rec ball as super sensitive trigger tend to shoot people accidentally

I had a no spring return in my gun (with a 25g switch) and switched to a magnet return and I prefer the magnet. I like the heavy but snappy feel over the ultra-light feel. It's all personal preferance though.

Are mag returns very conducive to bounce?

Mine is funky actually. Mine will bounce sometimes when I hold the trigger down and turn it on, and then sometimes it will do a 6 shot burst when I hold the trigger down and turn it on, and then it will sometimes do 20bps f/a when I hold the trigger down and turn it on. FUnky stuff lol Thanks warped for all this fun lol. If I just turn the marker on then it just does semi. My little "tricks" will be for fun at the chrono and scaring noobs, not game worthy though, semi in games only.

I will have warped take out the mags, then I will have him put so lighter magnets back in if I want. But I'm covered anyway, since having warped 30 min's away is an awesome thing for a tribal owner And also I can just meet him at a feild 6 min away from him, so its all good lol.

Once this trigger gets fixed up a bit, and i get a maddman valve this marker is pretty much done, I might have it anno'd, along with the conquest reg, but I dunno yet.

the burst when you turn the gun on isnt bounce its programing in the board that makes it do that. it can be fun though.

I know it isn't bounce, but unlike if it was a normal tribal, it will do the 6-shot burst thing quite a few times, like pull 6 burts, pull 6 burst, etc etc. But then after a few times it will just stop entirely. Odd stuff.

Just practice walking, bounce isn't cool IMO, I hate it, it allows people who don't have the skill to shot fast able, to shoot fast.

Bounce, ramping, anything besides straight semi,

yes. And I can hit well over 13 with my mag. (I've hit a steady 15 over a radar chrono, with bursts into the 18-19 range) I love the triger job on it. Thanks again Warped.

Bounce is NATURAL. Your gun has kick, and your trigger should get some reactivity....::shrugs:: when I get my Vike, since I play teh recball, I plan to mow muppets on db1. Hah. DB1 Matrices are insane. You can empty a halo by manually firing 10 rounds...

Awesome to hear MOP. I get occasional bounce, but what all the people saw at D-Day, with both of my markers, is just some incredibly fast fingers and some good targets to shoot at, no bounce at all. Anyone remember me dumping 6 pods and a hopper in that one speedball game at night? Pretty insane stuff.

Bounce takes the skill of shooting fast out of the game. Its stupid. My tribal has no bounce right now, I don't want it to either. I just have to find what kind of weight I like though, not really sure, gotta try them out. But warped will get me setup

Warped, thats insane, you have a problem man, lets hope you don't use that much on sunday.
