and it's 10 bucks, you can just get it from steam

My current DPB Problem..

Everytime I go to join a server for DBP, I get this weird error that won't let me load the map.

Here's the error:



It also has the Half-Life original backround instead of the DPB on the main menu, what can be causing this?

I just got Gold but this happens everytime I try to join a game.



Whats going on? It never gets past that part. Or does it just take a while?

If you have GOLD, you cannot join a 2.1 server and if you have 2.1, you cannot join a GOLD server. You are trying to join the wrong server for the version game you have.

Restart STEAM. That happens whenever you minimize while its loading a map.

Yes I know that. When I run Gold and try to connect to various Gold servers I still recieve the error.

i tried changing shooting to mouse wheel and i totally messed up. now whenever i press mouse1 or mousewheel i commit suicide. so how do i reset everything back to stock settings, then what do i type in console to shoot with mousewheel

type this in console
unbind mouse1
unbind mousewheel up
unbind mousewheel down
if this dont work u can type unbind all in the console but u will have to redo all ur controls

imma do it step by step
1. goto my computer
2. click on the c drive
3. click on program files
4. click on steam
5. click on steam apps
6. click on your steam username that you use
7. click on half life
8. click on dpb
*NOTE* when in the dpb file if ur putting in models put them into the model folder for example put it in as timmy.mdl if your putting it as a timmy.......
if it is a sound goto the sound folder then weapon
if its a map goto map and put it in there.
ne more problems just ask me ill try to help

so before spring break my wireless internet messed up. and while i was gone over spring break the internet company had someone come fix it. well they fixed it (sorta) i cant play any of my steam games but all the others work fine. like i will connect to the server than as soon as i do the screen will freeze up and i will get the warning connection problem but im still connected to the internet. i called them and the dumb whore said it is something with steam not their problem, so i come to you for help if you have ANY clue to what it may be please post here or contact me on aim at atlballa218.

i went to dpb.net and downloaded BYOP. On the top of that it says download this if you want to play dpb. There are numerous thing to download under this section, do i have to download them all?

you need Steam which u can get that at steampowered.com
you will also need Halflife which if you dont have u can buy it off of steam and dl it from steam once u get it, but if u do u just have to register if u havent alrdy.
then you need digitalpaintball i always dl it from filefront.com just search for digital paintball just like that. then just restart steam once u install dpb

i have steam and hl2. whenever i dl dpb i just dont know how to get it to show up in my games.
