Alright, I am going to put this very simply. Socialism, communism, idiotism, etc is INHUMAN and will NEVER work. Humans by nature compete, be it in sports, life, jobs, etc. If there is no competition and no motivation or rewards to those who succeed, then there will be no progress. Capitalism and free trade are the basis for progress and success. There will always be a need for it, it will always exist. The only people who complain are those who cant win at the game.
I agree with you, they are sore losers.

Just to put it yet other terms for the blind, deaf, stupid or commuinst: If communism could work everyone in here would agree with the question "Do you think communism would work?" Because we would want equality. some people want more from life than simplicity and equality.

Wow, how wrong are you? I own 8 businesses, going on 9 next year. I am independently wealthy and do not require working. However I pay my employees very well. If they are happy, that happiness moves to my customers and in turn generates more cash. I could have easily built myself to a point now where I would be very very wealthy, but I am comfortable, aside from doing the books and working on new inventions. My business model has worked very well for me and obviously my employees enjoy it because I have very low turn over rate. I run my businesses on a 60% to 40% distribution of dividends where 60% goes to my employees. The fiscal responsibility for this wealth distribution should be in the hands of the employer. Anyway, since you are already claiming I am a liberal, which you are obviously misinformed, I can see there is no convincing you otherwise so we are at an impass.
Tiny, I'm glad your businesses are going well for you, and what you are doing is commendable. My problem is with people that want the GOVERNMENT to force the business philosophies you follow on others. If I have misinterpreted you on that point, I apologize. Something tells me I didn't though. If I want to pay my employees well, I'll get generally better employees, or at least more applicants to choose from. If I don't I won't always. But it's MY choice. I should have no obligation to provide anything to my employees that isn't agreed to between them and I. There are already too many laws regarding employment. If employees have to rise up above others to get better pay, the capable ones will. If they all get paid regardless of ability or quality of work(I know you have met some in this category at SOME point of your life, but I digress) eventually the ones doing more will do less, or get a better job elsewhere. Yes there are a few that will do their best no matter what, but they are in the minority. Now if you can convince me that wanting the government to play Robin Hood is not a Liberal concept, I will withdraw the allegation.

Oh yeah, two more things....

1) I assume I shouldn't ask to run one of your proposed franchises, huh?

2) I was planning on sending in my Nova for an upgrade... but NOOOO..... I had to wait too long.

I agree, it is not the governments place I am advocating a philosophy change (I know it is not feasible but it is what I would liek to see.) So I accept your withdrawal, because I believe the government is there to govern laws and protect me from foreign and domestic threats and nothing else.

On teh other two matters:

1. When it opens you can apply and have a fair chance just like anyone else, if we are on schedule hiring begins February 2006 for facility 1 and February 2008 for Facility 2 and then it depends on margins from there.

2. You are the first person who tied me to the Nova. That was a long time ago. My old buddy now enemy Mike Woods is probably still doing it he coudl never let them go.

Take away all the workers and tell me what you have!
Better yet, take away all the rich people and what do you have? The "poor" can't be employed.

Capitalism needs both ends of the spectrum, but that doesn't change the fact that the poor have the same opportunities that the rich do.

Tiny, the movers have my "box-o-Nova" right now. One of the few nice things they do for retirees these days is non-temporary storage. Hopefully I find the right permanent house soon. If you happen to find cool parts in your day to day activities, let me know, but don't dig just for me yet. Of course, I have to keep up with the kiddies and get an electro conversion if I ever can The newbie rate is so high that I bet about 1% would even know what it is by now!

You are assuming that every single county is capitalistic to claim that these 3 billion people are poor. It is not capitalism that makes the people poor, it is a poor central government that offers no social benefits.
Since when is capitalism only allowed in 33 countries, just because a country does not have comporations based out of it does not mean it does not suffer the negative side of capitalism. Capitalism knows no borders, American companies have factrories and sweatshops wherever they find cheap labor, or havent you heard of "free trade"? Show me the source that says capitalism only exists in 33 countries, or do you have one?

Let me put it this way, and I'll save you a lot of time and patience. If you are here to try to denounce capitalism and have the audacity to say that communism is better, you will NOT win the argument.
Nice job putting words in my mouth. find my post that says communism is any better. Or are you just assuming the since i dislike capitalism i MUST love communism? I do not support communism, and if you even bothered reading what you are arguing against, you would know that. Check page 3 of this thread.

How many of you have ever read anything written by Marx? How many of you know what communism is past "everyone is equal"?
How many of you know what the **** you're talking about?

I'm not saying that communism would work in the real world, simply that many of you don't have the slightest ****ing clue what Marxism actually is.

Yeah lets tax the hell out of the rich so they bring their wealth/power to other countries. yeah great idea. How about more incentives to the wealthy so they have a reason to stay in the U.S. Sad but true.
