Which Gun is More Accurate?

Viking or Excalibur?

They have the same valve, and regulator, barrel, bolt-

Anyone know, I'm just curious-

Paint to barrel match is the biggest factor -
I am going to assume - that the Excalibur will have more range.

yea...

Well closed bolt usually leads to a flatter shot but just the same range as an open bolt. Open bolt guns tend to arc the shot a bit but just as acurate in a grouping sence.

^Thats what I have encounterend in my personal expirence.

There is much debate over which system is more accurate. So there is really no anwser to your question yet.

I'm planning on taking my Excalibur and my Viking to the field this Sundy to do some preliminary testing. I'm also planning on taking my video camera and getting some video of it to put online. Look for the vids mid-week. Hey I gotta work sometime!

yea its sunday!!!

I gotta hear about the performence ActionJunkie.

I tried an angel for a few games today when I was playing... and I must say, It was a pretty sweet gun. But I'm not going to go off and buy and angel until I try a Vik in my own hands (I hope they are at skyball). I didn't like how the angel pointed and how much of a $lut it is (everyone had one), but everything else about the gun was pretty nice.

Back to the point... How was the Viking?

It's sweet!!! I didn't play with it as I was reffing but everyone who shot it was very impressed. It's very consistant at the chrono. I'll get the vids digi'd tonight and post them tonight or tomorrow.
I can say that I was getting about 2 psi per ball on a 68 ci 4500 tank.

cool...

Can't wait to hear more.

It would be cool if KM2 came out with a new board that brought it up to speed with Angels... I hate speed caps in guns, they are like driving a sweet car with a 100km/h (60mph) govener chip.

They shoot 13BPS, how much faster do you want to go?

I didn't get to compare it side by side with the Excalibur. A friends new WGP "cocker went down so he borrwed my Excalibur.
I've uploaded the videos and started a new thread with the links. As I get more vids I'll upload them.

well...

Why would I want more then 13bps...

I like speed, half the reason I play front. Next when I pop out to snap shoot I wat to get thoes 4-6 balls off as fast as I can to reduce the risk of crazy backmen plugging me.

But I could live with 13bps

I play front and I've never seen a need for over 13bps. In fact I don't think I really go over 8 or so. No real need to. Your back players should be cleaning up the field, not the point men.
