Hey Mag...didn't NJ have the highest taxes and insurance rate for a LONG time? Even under Christine Todd Whitmann and she's part of the Bush administration now. NJ will always have high tax rates just because its full of ex NYers who made a ton of cash and moved out cuz they afraid of Blacky.

yes this is true about taxes and insurance.
but still everyone says they are going to fix the insurance but they never do. Our government puts so many damn restrictions on the insurance companies that most of em move out and lessen the competition.
Reasons our damn insurance is so high:
most densely populated state so u come into contact with more cars
insurance companies arent allowed to drop bad drivers
insurance companies' profits are limited by the government...yes thats right, the govt just said "you can only make X amount of money per year"
Kids down the shore drive like *******es

well atticus will prob deny this but NJ is know to have some of the worst drivers in the eastern united states..thats why your insurance rates are so high.

i wont deny that im just saying that there are other factors...they probably drive so crazy cuz they are messing with their radios when they hear that their governor is having a gay affair, getting sued for harrassment, and he has a wife and child.

Umm.. Mass and NY are FAAAAR worse than NJ drivers..
Sure, our taxes have always been pretty high, but they are only going up... Insurance has been the same way.. And it's not because so many kids get in accidents, or because everyone here sucks at driving.. Those would probably be 1/100 of the cause of the high prices.. Atticus was along the right line..
