The Black Dragun doesn't have a "cocking problem". Between my friend and I, we have 4 Black Draguns and one E-2. None of them have ever had cocking problems that were not induced by our tinkering.
I'm willing to bet that 99% of the problems you've read about are actually operator-error, just like they are on Spyder's themselves.
Don't sweat it, get a BD. You won't regret it...
