since when did we start talking about clinton? it dosn't matter what he did or what he didn't do. Thats water under the bridge we can't change any of that. We can change weather or not we think bush is fit for the presidency again.

Yeah, because we all know how easy it is to smuggle thousands of liters of deadly gases and tons of nukes as Colin Powell refered to them in his speeches with the U.N. into another willing country.

Let me give you a little history of the economy. Bush Sr. and his fellow Republican presidents before him (Reagan, etc.) had this strategy: Cut taxes (primarily for the rich) no matter what, which will supposedly "stimulate" the economy. All it has ever done is put us into debt. Clinton got rid of these unnecessary tax cuts for the wealthy. Many conservatives predicted the next Great Depression. Guess what happened? The economy flourished and before you know it, we had a surplus of over 200 billion dollars. You think that George W would have learned from the past and kept the same economic system that Clinton used. Well, he didn't and, once again, the US had a massive debt on its hands. Only, this time, things were much worse. The United States had a record deficit with no end in sight.

I think we should face facts on WMD's. We were wrong. He didn't have what we thought he had. Who's to blame? Everyone, really. The CIA, Bush Administration, Congress, no one's hands are clean. Sure, Iraq and the world are probably safer, but's a case of loss vs. reward here.

Oh. My. God. If you can't read that chart and realize that it shows Bush's deficit BEFORE 9-11, then you should not be in this debate.
