I see it like this. Kerry believed in something, and he fought for it. He made an effort to do something he thought was right, that risked his life in the process. The fact that bush never served, and avoided serving tells me that he isnt meant to be a leader, especially of a country. And many of his decisions have proven this.
Clinton straight up draft dodged to canada and he wasn't that bad of a president. My uncle risked his life plenty in vietnam and he is hardly fit to run his household.

And Bush could have bought off those anti-Kerry Vets. All of this, just like Bush's DUI that magically came up in 2000, is meant solely to distract people from the issues and vote with their hearts instead of their heads. And before you start, I'm talking about both camps.

yeah, you are. That is possible, but impossible to prove and highly unlikely.

Ill post the link of some of the vet articles I read, I dont have time to hunt through the net right now.

But to tide you over, from what I understand from the articles, there were two vets who were volunteering for kerry, while 12 out of the other 19 have threatened to sue him if he continues using their pictures in his campaign. Now from what I understand there is only one vet, and the other one is also questioning Kerry's ability to lead. That is some pretty substantial stuff right there. When over half of the people that served under you are threatening to sue you for even using their picture, something is wrong.

As far as medals, do you honestly believe he earned 3 purple hearts in 4.5 months? Oh and by the way, when you get 3 purple hearts you get to go back home to the states...

Why is it that the olny issue with a presidential nominee is what he did for 4 and one half months 30 years ago. Why has Kerry never mantioned what he did for the next 20 years as a Senator??? That is what truly matters. And because he was in 'nam does not mean he is automaticall fit to lead the nation. There are men i know who were in nam and are by no means fit to lead a nation, and they spent years in vietnam. You dictate the character of John Forbes Kerry by his record in the senate, not by how many V-C he killed in veitnam. It does not matter.

They certainly have, but between the incredibly short amount of time he served to purple heart ratio and the quote from the nurse regarding his injury and purple heart medal it doesn't look to great for kerry.

if the nurse claimed that she treated him for an injury, wouldn't that mean that he MUST have gotten a purple heart? And this was nam, from what I recall, they gave out purple hearts like candy in that war.

In vietnam soldiers were wounded all the time. It's really not that hard to imagine getting 3 in 4.5 months.

Yes...you're right, but remember what the Doctor said? Here is a more detailed account.

John Kerry got a purple heart from a band aid wound. Are you kidding me? I laughed out loud at how most soldiers that were with him believe the injury was his own fault.

BECAUSE of his military experience Kerry WONT be a good leader, because almost all the people he served with think he wouldnt make a good president. Also Kerry has been a Senator for quite a while now... can anyone name an accomplishment he made in those years?
