for a threaded bar to pull the lpr out with, if you have an old matrix, you can use the breech knob to pull out the lpr on the dm4s or 5s

7. Now take a small and soft object (pencil eraser works for me) and stick it down the LPR and pres down on the little nipple looking thing so that the piston falls out along with the spring...

Ok, when you put the piston back in. How hard to you have to push it? Is there something you should look for so you know that you pushed the the piston back in properly?

I didn't have the allen wrenches for my DM5, so I pushed it out a little through the hole, and pulled the rest out with needle-nose pliars. That works too!

does it matter on which side of the lpr you p0ut the little screw to hold it in, because i did this and found that the little screw wasnt in the hotdog shaped hole but on the other side. the little screw does go into the hot dog shaped whole rite?

removing the LPR is obviously different though, seeing as the LPR is in the front of the marker. You do not need to remove your grip frame to get it out, only the reg and ASA. the set screw is the little one under the ASA. once you remove that, u can take your LPR out, using one of the many ways mentioned before.

yes, the hot dog shape hole should be facing down/toward your grip frame.
