Bush to screen population for mental illness
Sweeping initiative links diagnoses to treatment with specific drugs

2004 WorldNetDaily.com

President Bush plans to unveil next month a sweeping mental health initiative that recommends screening for every citizen and promotes the use of expensive antidepressants and antipsychotic drugs favored by supporters of the administration.

The New Freedom Initiative, according to a progress report, seeks to integrate mentally ill patients fully into the community by providing "services in the community, rather than institutions," the British Medical Journal reported.
I'm calling BS. I'll believe it when if it happens. But if it does the government will never force a mandatory mental health check-up on me with out a damn good reason for doing so.

You know, if it wasn't for Bush being the same person who thought it'd be awesome to start a program where everyone spies on and rats out their neighbours for being terrorists, I'd say this is too far out to believe. Is the world net daily a credible news source?

It's the republican way to create a new program every 10 minutes, no matter how stupid they are.

This was posted on another forum and I've never even been to worldnetnews or whatever is it, but whether its real or not, its funny. I trust sites like NBC, BBc, ABC and CBS News more than a super left wing website.

Not at all... How did you get that? I'm saying they ARE credible. I'm saying worldnetnews or whatever ISN'T credible but it's a funny story anyway because its semiplausible.

Actually, the more I watch Fox, the more I like it. Joe Scarborough isn't too bad. I really don't like Bill O'Reilly but I like watching the Factor (go figure ). But I hate their anchorwomen. Rudi Bahktiar > that blonde ***** with the weird voice.

Well without trying to sound too defensive, I know what BBC is. I watch their news all the time. Not to mention The Office.
