I thought I heard pig say on the news the other day that they weren't street legal. But if you were to ride it around in your neighborhood, I think that would be ok.

they are not street legal. they do not have headlights and they can not be registered thus not able to be ridden on the street. private property, yes. pocketbike races are awesome to see and participate in but i would not recommend the pep boys or ebay pocketbikes for that. you can get a good deal on a blata or a polini.

They are absolutely not street legal. Think about it.... your not going to be visible . Christ its hard enough to see motorcycles.

Allot of citys are already banning go peds and those half assed scooters from the road too.

The bikes on ebay are junk (unless its a polini or blata)

those adds are also miss leading. That bike will most likely do 40mph tops if your lucky. Most do around 30-40 but a high quality bike can do 60mph plus (go knows why the speedo says 60)

Get yourself one of these!

http://www.teamcalamari.com/ysr/ysrmisc.html

Much larger than a pocketbike (more like 2/3 of a real motorcycle) and street legal as well.

Kinda hard to find now, but there are plenty of parts made for them, and you can still get parts from the factory! Try getting parts for your no name pocketbike!
