they are just epoxied together.

Take the tip to a machine shop, tell them that you want x" taken off the tip, then reseat it with epoxy again.

Just make sure when you put it back together so it is aligned correct and make sure you use a strong enough epoxy.

It has two grooves milled into the tip where the barrel tip goes into the back. The back of the tip is a straight cut. I would guess you just use heat. Blowtorch or something, I am not entirely sure.

It isn't really a JT boomer. It is just a JT barrel.

Anyways, I pm'd you because when I first saw this thread I think Accord accidentaly closed it. If you didn't get my PM, White Wolf, shortens boomers.

Ok well I got it apart no problems, but it does take a propane torch. I dont think a lighter would get hot enough you have to make it hot enought for smoke to come out the barrel from epoxy melting.
But now cutting the barrel is no prob but when i cut it the porting holes will be in the base . So how can I keep the epoxy from running into the inside of the barrel which would mean real problems?
I emailed white wolf to see what he charges but I would like to do it my self if i can solve this problem.
So let me hear your ideas Aaron

Cockerman86 I didnt say it was a JT barrel it is a Titianum Boomstick (Ti)
