The problem with making trucks fast is traction. Some of the big diesels can go sub-11 with 4wd on.

4 link suspension, than you have no problems get the same traction a car will, and you can lift the front end.

Pretty nice ranger, there's somethings I don't agree with but it's a real nice truck for a high school kid. I'm guessing theres about 10k in that truck depends on what leafs and LT kit he's running but between that, the tubework , and dampining.

That looks like a Baja setup not a rock crawling setup. That thing would be a pain to drive on the road though.

I friend of mine just completed a 5.0 Explorer swap in his Ranger. The best he ran was 15.7 after the modifications... not too great, but not too shabby considering what it used to be. He said that the low-end power is amazing; the top end sucks. I guess he was killing everyone out of the hole.

Lol, flush mounting amps into the headliners, nice touch!

I have a buddy who mounted his ppi 4x125 on his trunk lid, I'm really not too sure why but it turned out ok.

That Ranger is a prerunner set up.

A friend of mine has an older S-10, and dropped a 350 in it. He's spent alot more than 5k on it, but its very fast, although not street legal.

I knew a guy that had a 1990's Dodge Dakota that looked completely stock but ran 12s. If I remember correctly, he did a motor swap and tweaked the motor a little. The truck was very subtle, and a great daily drive; but, it unleashed some serious power when you hit the "go" pedal.

I wish he still had that truck... Heh.

just like a car, your set up will determine what it will and what it can do in a straightline

v8 + truck/car dont equal fast
