Post I wanna get a system put in my car....

so my dad is gunna let me spend around 300 to 400 bucks to get a system in my car.

i was thinkin a new stereo, replace all the stock speakers and maybe a sub or bazooka.


so what are the best brands? i want my music to sound good, not neccisiraly loud. (so dont really need amps out the ying yang)

i have a 86 Mercedes 190E


will only some stereos fit?

Get a componant system. They can sound surprisingly good. They can hit like a mofo too.

Wow if you can get a good system for that let me know cuz my 2 10" pioneer subs + new boxes+900WATT Lightning Audio cost me about $389 or somewhere in there. Thats not counting my $200 Pioneer head unit and all the wire which is about $30 in a kit

Yeah no doubt you could get some subs and a good amp with 400, but a complete audio replace definetly with subs thats a no

thats where I went, they actually had some new **** in, I was suprised to find an amp over 400 watts there!

i was talking about this $200 kit you can buy, has a sub, amp, box, and i think a head unit.

and i'm pretty sure you can get a component set for about 150-200 on ebay
