Thumbs up There nice

I have one and love. I had a to chose bettwen a xtra and a shutter and i am sure glad i got the shutter. Some people with shutters have had some problems but all guns have problems. So my advice is get the shutter i usually play with my friends that have cockers and I get them out just as much as they get me but remember usually its not the gun its the player. They have had so many problems with there guns there always sinding it to the shop. So buy the shutter its a great gun for a begginer and a experenced player. I hope I helped

Spyder Shutter is an excellent gun to start out with either that or an Xtra

A spyder shutter has unnecessary crap on it. You are better of with a TL. Too many noobs are attracted to shiny ornamental stuff on their guns. Xtras look good to. Just depends on your price range.

Yeah, shutters have that stupid stock wannabe drop foward that honestly doesn't drop it nearly enough. The guage that is on it is pretty crappy.

My friend was thinking about the shutter. We looked into it and shot different spyders (mind you this was a long time ago). We noticed next to no difference between the regular TL vs. the shutter and the TL's run cheappper. (Also, we used the same paint and air and stuff so there wasn't much variation in operating tools)

So, en el nutshell... I recommend getting a well performing marker vs. a well performing one that looks good but costs mucho mas money.

Don't get the Shutter. It has a lot of cheap crap on it that you don't need and they will break or get demage very quickly. If you want a spyder, get the xtra. Put a reg. or x-chamber, SS line, and a new barrel. After you play with the gun for a while and get a better idea of where you want to go, then upgrade it further with what ever you like.

if ur looking at the 300-500 price range look at the tippman custom get some upgrades right off the start, nitro and a freak and ull be set. You can also opp for the electro kit or rt trigger system..... take a look at mags also.....

Electro conversion kit and RT kits for m98's are just plain stupid in my opinion. If you are willing to spend that money get an impulse. You can run co2 on impulses so you don't have to buy a HPA tank if you can't afford it. Also, imps hold a pretty good resale value and they are wickedly amazing, of course if you have a good paint to barrel match.

Red face I own a pos shutter.

Do not buy a shutter. Even if you are a pro. The regulater that comes with it is ****. The barrel couldn't hit the broad side of a ****in barn after 5 shots. There is NO distance. The balls curve in all directions. I am going to sell mine RIGHT NOW. I am going to find some other gun to get .. I have a shocker and am going to sell that too. I like it and all, but I am wanting a sniper gun. My oppinion and prefrence is to not buy a shutter unless you can get it for $2. it is not worth it. even if you get it Cheap, the LT or tricked out Classic is MUCH BETTER!

Red face No

The Shocker is not a sniping gun.. it has great distance for back players, I play in the woods and we have senarios and I am usually stuck as the "sniper" because that is what I like .. and the shocker not only isnt a sniping gun it is a front line gun. And the handle is ALL OVER THE TRIGGER .. it isnt really good for me to play with in the woods.

Shockers are not heavy at all. If you are not 9 years old and still think that a shocker is heavy then hit the weight room.

I had to use a shocker, warp feed, halo, huge d/f, DYE stainless steel, and a Dynaflow for a couple games once and I was perfectly.

I think most of a gun's weight it psychological. When I am playing I am not thinking about how damn heavy my gun is.

I play mid and front. Well, I will grant you that I am a pretty strong guy so I personally can hold it like that. Sure, it would be uncomfortable to stay in the same position with it, but I am a really active player so I'm not usually just chilling out behind a bunker.
