Barrels of america makes great barrels for ANY gun...i have recently found out they have threads for the model 83. thier barrels are the greatest with out a doubt! check em out!!! www.barrelsofamerica.com

BOA is known for their accuracy and thier quietness, thier most famous barrel IMO is the BOA Concealer...its a silenced barrel...its sweet. all of thier barrels are great and made any way u want.

i wouldnt say the "best" but they make some really nice barrels. i just wish they were more readily available.

Didn't they discontinue the concealer? I was lookin all over for one... Also, How good is the BOA snakebite barrel? I was thinkin of gettin one(i like the muzzle)

yea they stoped making the concealers a while back due to the federal ban on silencers (not a true silencer but its better to cover yer back then get the feds all over ya).. my personal pref is toward the snake bite porting. its a bit louder than the express but ill exchange the noise dif for slightly better gas efficency. my wife has a boa with wisper porting (3 parallel rows of porting on only 1 side of the barrel) not sure if it was made to generate backspin or just experiment with dif porting designs.
