Ariakon.com

Well it's official, Armotech.com is now Ariakon.com on accorandance with their mandatory name change from the law suit. However, they're kicking off the new name and new site with lots of good news.

1.) All "ariakon" guns now ship with High & Low velocity springs to deal with the velocity issues. Any current SIM-4 owners can contact "ariakon" and get a new low velocity spring shipped to them free of charge.

2.) The new SIM-15 announced; A budget version of the SIM-4 which retails for only $270 (which means more like $230 to $250 with most dealers). The SIM-15 seems to be a stripped down SIM-4 (removes the flash suppressor, no removable feed port, cheaper bolt, etc.)

3.) The new SIM-5 was announced; the new MP5 marker from Armotech. It uses the same (excellent in my opinion) internals as the SIM-4 and just changes the body to that of the more compact MP5. The SIM-5N & SIM-5 are available ATM, with the SIM-5N having the RIS system built into the hand guard. The SIM-5's also include a new quick release barrel (simply remove a pin to remove the barrel) for easy cleaning on the field. The new barrel system supposedly allows for removal, cleaning, & reattachment of a barrel in 5 seconds.

4.) Several "new" accessories including different tac lights, the M16A1 & M16A2 barrel kits (previously only avaiable for the WG series), 4 varieties of triggers, a new SR15 rail in addition to the current two available, & a verticle R.I.S. grip (again previously only avaiable for the WG series)

http://ariakon.com/

Go check it out. Now that the name issue is finally resolved hopefully the two big names in Mil-Sim guns can set aside their differences and start showing up all those speedball players who think Mil-sim guns suck!

I appreciate the M-16 style handle, but the SIM-5 does not do anything for me at all

Absolutely WarHamster!!!

Great to see that they released a inexpensive marker for those wanting a MilSim looking gun without paying for a mid level marker.

yea they have a good idea targeting the lower end.

I mean, I keep my eye on the SIM guns, just because of the whole fiasco and the fact that they DID loose...but They seem to be going independent, meaning that they can be treated as their own unit, and I respect that they seem to have a fine product.

I'd still get the warsensor over anything, extra range is awesome and built-in faux clip is a plus, but it's just me.

The Ariakon name sounds wierd to me, too asian. Asian names are not my favorite kind. Armotech...armo makes me think of armament, and tech means technology so arms technology...fits. War Sensor, dosn't make direct sense but it sounds like it does. Ariakon, I want to type AkiraKon like it's some Convention for that Anime Akira...makes me think of action figures and sci-fi toys, not milsim guns. Whatever though

We could just change this forum's name over to Armotech/Ariakon, or simply Mil-Sim as you suggested. That way we could cover Rap4's & stuff too.

See my post Ban Ariakon from the PBNation forums though...

No they should not be related in anyway.

WarHamster... trust me I know more about Armtoech then you will ever know. take a look at your thread in Paintball-Forum ....

Like we have both said .. Arimkon is not Armotech now lets get over it.. I agree... now stop bringing up there products in the Armotech section.... an di said NOTHING about Banning anything... and im not even saying that Arikron is a bad gun.. its cool whatever.. I will probably even support them on my website www.tacticalmods.com along with all the other milsim type guns.

Does anyone really understand that a "settlement" means there was no judgement. There was a mutual agreement and no winner and no looser.

huh, that's odd. Especially since one of the listed armotech dealers (FOX RIVER GAMES (2nd listed for IL)) is my field store and I know all the guys who run it. I'm the REASON they're an ariakon dealer, because they were so impressed with my SIM-4.

But hey, let's just humor you & compare the dealer lists... Let's see let's just do Alaska - Arizona since that's how armotech.net lists it.
