**Official Denver Photo Thread**
I will be uploading pics throughout this weekend statring tonight with yesterday and todays pics. I am using a Nikon D70 so i will be getting professional quality photos. Check back tonight around 11pm GMT (1am EST)...

ok, just because you said that I will be uploading some of the pictures, the only reason that I did not post the pics is because of the fact that i shoot in raw mode so the pictures are very large, which makes it hard to find a suitable host... and yes the D70 and my EOS 10D take incredible shots...

ok. instead of thinking your catching fame by pointing out your super duper cool camera let's "focus" on why those professional photos of yours aren't up.
if you have photoshop you'd know there's an automation tool that resizes photos automatically. nobody here, i'm sure, want's to look at 100k files.

You dont need to shoot raw mode to have good shots. You only need raw mode if you dont know the settings for your camera. So once you you know how to use you camera, i would suggest using jpeg quality. The work flow is 100x time easier.

Ok, I have my camera set to pop out jpeg along with a raw photo... and yes i am fairly new to photography, the camera is my dads... i am a baller in heart, except i couldnt play this event... so i did the next best thing and got a media pass and shot some gret pictures... i do ave a question tho... where can i host files that are large???

pbase.com for photos.
Your photos should not be any larger than 800x600 pixels. Right now your putting out 2000x3000 pixels, so you have to resize your photos. Also when you resize, save the picture as jpeg quality 9 ( out of 12)
There ya go. Also on pbase.com there is a tool that automatically resizes and compresses your photos so they take up less space.
