exactly
edit: but seriously, why does it matter if gays cant have children? there are quite a few heterosexual couples that cant have children due to some physical problem. Should they not be allowed to be married? Also isnt marriage an expression of love and a legal bond not a contract to have kids?

Do you know what pisses me off? Back about 62 years ago America was attacked by a forgien country and people were for it. But now when America is attacked during our time of liberals people are against it. The reason? Roosevelt was president back then and George is president now. One a democrat, one a republican. All liberals have nothing good to say about a repulican and nothing bad to say about a democrat. Not many liberals realize the Roosevelt was a commie lover. He wanted America to be Communist based. Its stuff like that, thats makes me mad beyond belief. Liberals always talking good about the things they believe in never refuting it.

And the thing about abortion on how the law shouldn't be there. That level of abortion was the most brutal disgusting way of abortion. If you didnt know they deliver that baby partially so it is still "abortion" then drill out a little hole in the back of the head and suck the brains out through a tube. So don't get your panties in a bundle because there are still two more ways you damn liberals

The reason is because you're a cock goblin. Iraq didn't attack us.

1st off.... Roosevelt knew the Japanese were attacking, and secondly, it was a COUNTRY. 20 guys used box-cutters to take over passenger planes. To compare that to a fleet of planes and ships battling it out in the middle of the pacific, killing hundreds of thousands of people on each side is just ludacris.
You love to generalize "damn liberals", while some people are disagreeing with individuals IE.. Bush. Bush is NOT the republican party as much as some people wish he was. He is an individual with his own agenda.
If you read the subject of this thread, you would realize that people inside parties have different goals and clash on many ideas. Instead, you wanted to attack, i'm sure it was justified pre-imminent self defence, but regardles you brought up a right versus wrong two party arguement that is very far from the reality of politics.

Thanx,
Brackis

Rosevelt was a communist.....id guess that your confusing communist with socialist but regardless who cares? Communism is not by nature a bad thing, it is a horribly flawed system but it is by no means evil. It was never ment to be an oppressive system. That was Lenins doing.
Edit: or your also maybe thinking that because he supported Stalin he was a communist.....in which case your just a ****ing idiot.

Unlike you, I don't put a blanket statement on all conservatives/republicans. I actually (wanted to) vote for McCain in 2000, despite my being a liberal. Of course, I think there's a big difference between republicans and conservatives, but I'll save that for another day.

I personally like Dean, but I'll vote for anyone who can beat Bush. None of the Democratic candidates can possibly be as bad a president as W.

Boy, I sure am looking forward to paying off this trillion dollar deficit. I can't wait to see what how high my taxes are going to be 5 years from now.

I'm not so worried about cutting of taxes, but the cutting of programs and benefits that the government provides. Ie.. Welfare (if we got rid of corporate welfare and policed companies strictly none of these problems would be occuring), Social Security, public education. It will force the middle class out and create rich and poor.

And if we've learned anything from history, it's that an prosperous society cannot exist without a strong middle class. The gap between the rich and poor has been growing at an alarming rate, thanks in part to things such as tax cuts...the majority of which do, despite what you'd hear on Fox, go to the wealthy.

Oh, right, the tax cuts are going to stimulate the economy. Hey, the stock market was up again today! (Actually it wasn't, but that's not the point.)

Largest deficit in history + declining dollar + fact that the Fed is about to jack up the interest rates = sustainable rally? I think not. Prepare for more recession.

The tax cuts are just a loan.

But I digress. In conclusion:

As has been said, you are retarded. We were not attacked by Iraq. We were attacked by Al Queda, an organization run by Osama Bin Laden. On case you haven't noticed, we haven't found him yet, and there is audio evidence that the CIA believes proves that he is still alive.

Why? Besides the fact that it could never work, theres nothing wrong with communism as a theory.

First of all, the "Partial Birth Abortion Ban" has no language in it that makes it specific to one type of procedure or time period in the pregnancy

Quote:
Despite a deceptive public relations strategy that has tried to advance this myth, neither the new federal ban nor any of the state laws are limited to a specific procedure. In the case of Nebraska, proponents of the statute attempted to convince the Supreme Court that the ban was limited to D&X. But the Court noted "there is no language in the statute that supports it." 530 U.S. at 918. In fact, the Nebraska legislature rejected an amendment that would have limited the law to only one narrowly defined procedure or to abortions performed late in pregnancy.
Quote:
The new law contains no reference to the stage of pregnancy to which its harsh penalties apply.
Second of all, the ban makes no exceptions for a women's health EVEN when the abortion is medically necessary. Bottom line, its not up to politicians to decide what is safest and appropriate, its for families and their doctors.

Quote:
All liberals have nothing good to say about a repulican and nothing bad to say about a democrat.
Have you read any of my posts? Because I disagree with the democrats on a lot of issues. The spectrum of "liberal/conservative" isn't 1 dimensional, there are at least 2 axis.

There are the social and economic axis. A good summary would be:
- the economic scale is liberal vs conservative, the more conservative you are means the freer you think that the market should be.
-the social scale is authortarian vs libertarian, the more libertarian you are means the freer you think the people should be.

So "Bush Republicans" who dont believe in a balanced budget, or protectionists, and dont believe in civil liberties and equal rights for all would fall under the "conservative authortarians" and dems would be "liberal libertarians". I personally see myself as a "conservative libertarian" but value social policies over economic, so I side with dems.

I can't tell if you are agreeing with me, or saying that what I forsee is not going to happen. I see the middle class becoming more and more overlapped with the lower class, where everyone has a crappy job and no way to work out of it. It won;t last forever, but it shouldn't in the first place if we can help it.

Thanx,

No, I agree. Jobless claims have gone down but very few jobs have been created. What does this tell us? Americans are settling for less in the job market.

i will strongly back bush during the election. From all my reserch into the subject on this matter i fing him to be the best choice all around. all the crap that people have on him has no actuall proof. yes it sounds convincing but if you look into it is someones opinion on what has happened. we do not know yet if sadam was making wmd but then again there is no proof that he wasnt making them. a few years back we were worring about the economy and asking for bush's help on the matter.( by the way i think on of the contributing factors on the ressesion was 9/11 if you want to know more ask me latter) then the economy starts on the rise again after bush gave it a little push and restored confidence in the americian costomer. know we have a bunch of people who have never sapported anything that bush has done, whinning and saying that it will go into ressesion again or it will only help the poor. well i ask you can you see into the future? and if bush loses will you take credit (which most likly the dems will do) for what bush has done.

I especially love how you use specifics

WTF does "there is no proof that he wasn't making them" mean?! I mean, what would proof of that be? Like, "Oh, heres a reciept for not buying uranium....

honestly... there is no proof of an Iraqi WMD program because there wasn't one. And you can say what you want about Saddam, but it wasn't worth 460 US lives to go in without first proving that there was a reason.

Quote:
by the way i think on of the contributing factors on the ressesion was 9/11 if you want to know more ask me latter
Of course 9/11 was a contributing factor to our prolonged depression but it had started even before "9/11" with the dot-com bust.

Quote:
then the economy starts on the rise again after bush gave it a little push and restored confidence in the americian costomer.
by doing what?

first off he helped the economy giving tax cut. tax cuts eguall more money for the american consumer which will most likely spend it increasing sales and giving businesses more money. the the businesses will give pay raises and hire more people to keep up with the demand. then the consumer is not so worried about if he is going to get a job or if he is not going to be able to pay the bills. So they spend even more.
And know we ask how do you know there is no and was no wmd and how could we prove it if saddam would not let our weapon inspectors in? .

He helped the economy? Our we in some sort of recovery that I haven't noticed? Don't get me wrong, I'm a Bush supporter as of now, but no, he hasn't helped the economy at all.

and as far as WMD, we're in now, and we haven't find them. Did he take them into his hole with him?
