When do Vikings come out???

I heard they were supposed to come out first week of February but I haven't seen any unvaleing (sp?) yet. Has AKA started shipping or was the date pushed back?

Thanks for any information.

Viking shipments

I had a long conversation with the factory this morning. The bodies have arrived back at AKA. First run PCBs are to be installed by this weekend. First shipments should begin next week to distributors.

Don't think that more than a dozen will be ready to ship next week, with many more to come very soon.

PCB--Pepsi-Cola Bottle modification. Similar to the Coke can mod, but tuned for open-bolts. I think it has something to do with counter-acting the the spin of the earth. That's why AKA asks if your gun will be used in the northern or southern hemisphere. You know, the same forces that determine which way the water drains in your toilet.

Jeez, where've you been?

FYI:

Toilet bowls in America have more/deeper water which sucks the crap away. Meanwhile in Australia there's are more wine glass shaped with little standing water. There's tend to blow the crap away.

You can thank James from Macdev for that little piece of know how.

Well that makes sense, as I'm sure toilets made in the northern hemisphere are incompatible with the southern hemisphere. With that in mind, the aussies would be unable to make a mirror-image version of an American toilet without violating international patent laws. Therefor, they have no choice but to come up with an alternate crap disposal method.

Thumbs up

Word around the campfire is that Viking's are back, and are waiting on the boards to be put in and will begin to be shipped out!

Well, guess what. It is your lucky day. This is not a picture of a Viking, no it is way better. It is a Viking, in action!

The reason that it looks so much like an Excal is that it uses basically all of the same parts as the Excal. This includes the body, grip, and internals. But the Excal is closed bolt and the Viking is open. So the Viking has 1 less ram, and 1 less solenoid.
