I had a Shocker before my DM4. At first I was like "Yes, I got a DM4 now it is sooooO much better!"

But now that I do not have a Shocker, I miss the littleness of it and how accurate they are. They have something about them that makes it so good. I def. want another one as a backup.

Hope that helps, I can tell you that I am getting another Shocker.

y dont u just get a dye LCD trix? cheaper then shockers/viking (i think) and will work almost as good as the DM4, just not as pretty, plus u could get the evolve bolt for it and be able to shoot over a case on a 68/4000 fill

because if u hav a dm4 and a trix u will never play even though i hav owned a matrix and i own a dm4 now they are very tempermental guns...sumtimes they will work while other times they wont...if u hav those two guns i can almost guarentee u will hardly ever play due to marker failure

i say get the viking, but that is because i am anit-sp. my friend has a viking and a lcd trix as his backup and he loves his viking, said its very reliable and he has never had a problem with it. another of my friends has a shocker and he also loves it, but i wouldnt buy it just because im anti-sp. seems to b mostly personal preference.

Dm4 gurl- what are u talking about? I have never had a problem with either of my Dm4s or any of my other trixes that couldnt be fixed by changing an oring. ( never had a Dm4 problem yet knock on wood)

Tehey arnt tempermental guns, they work all the time.

That being said, i would say get a shocker. Easy to work on urself, light, quick with the right board, and cheeper. Its gona be your back up, so, its not a thing u want to spend 1500 on to get an imortal or something like that.

Pat

sorry but i currently have 2 dm4s, and have owned many other trixes including NYX and a sunrise. These guns take care of you if u take care of them. Lube them every few cases, set the LPR before a day of play and after lunch, . . . and ur set. Now with the Dm4s i dont even have to set the LPRs, just pick them up and go.

Sorry never had an experiance with a tempermental Dm4 or trix, maybe u just have bad luck.

Pat

PS or its ur a girl and dont know how to work on guns. LOL just playin
