You running 10:1 pistons? Im not to much of a car person, do a lot of work on quads. You should be able to boost your pistons up to 11:1. Not sure if you want to keep it low for nitrious reasons? I know you need to go down to 9:1ish if you are supercharged, but other than that you should be able to go up to high comp pistons.

Yep, its because lower octaine gas doesn't burn as clean, which is what you need in built motors like that. Are you still running pump gas? At 12:1 you should be mixing it race gas.

I gotta give you props simply because the car isnt riced.

And might I add, that that is the most crammed full engine compartment I have ever seen, in all my extensive* experience.

*extensive meaning none

to whoever says they need lower compression rods for f/i:

you are talking out your ***. if you are cheap and cant afford dyno tuning (you should fit that into your budget if you are going to turbo or supercharge it) then you would need lower compression rods, but otherwise keep what youve got. as long as you use premium and get someone to tune it correctly you would be fine.

only thing i would say is take the setup you have now and put it in a lighter civic hatch or crx, you could be running a lot lower et's with just a little more effort and crx's are cheap to find.
