I'm sure most of you know this, but I'd figure I would make it a little more clear. For all of you who have not been to colorado, please read the following. I am a resident of denver, and I know, that the air is so thin, I get winded going up stairs (no, I am not fat). Just letting everyone know that if you do not drink a lot of water (even when you are in your hotel) I can almost guarentee you are going to get sick. Colorado is so dry, that you need to drink at least 10 times as much as you normally do. Also, to anyone with lung problems, (IE, Asthma) I HIGHLY reccomend bringing inhalers, etc.

Just figured I would make this clear, so nothing unfortunate happens. Dehydration is very easy to accomplish here. And it is hot as the Devils ***.

i was there this week and the altitude didnt really bother me but it was hot.

you will need a lot of water. After/during practice for any sport i play i drink up to 6 nalgenes(a liter each).

i got altitude sickness when i went skiing there a few months ago!!!! well i was skiing in avon vail - but shutdown speaks the truth!

although you may not feel like you need it, drink your damn water!! altitude sickness sucks!

Jordan not fat? pfft.. *edit* * Jordan isn't fat* Chuck was at practice today and Oxygen will be on site at the chrono stations I believe, and EMT's will be there just incase. Not positive on the EMT's but it wouldnt suprise me in the least.

It has been getting HOT here in the past few days.. even those used to the alitude and Colorado's ways were feeling the burn today.

Another thing about altitude: you will feel drunk with less alcohol. Don't be the drunk chic who gets naked at the bar.

Don't even think about drinking beer and stuff when going out on the town. Everyone is going to be a cheap drunk. Just stick with the water!!!!! This is a good thread, thinking safety for all ballers!
