paintball in the rain

i don't know how many else have played hyperball in the rain and mud but it is so fun. i slid 20 feet from 1 bunker all the way to the 50. it was cool cause u slide like u normally would, but u can sit up and shoot while you slide- slip and slide style. i can't believe how much fun that was

I've played paintbal in pretty much every form of weather. Snow, ice, rain, hail, windy, sunny, etc. The best is snow because if you use Co2, you get those big clouds of gas and it likes cool(hey, It wasn't my gun so I don't care). The worst is windy cuz all your shots trail off. Sometimes, if you face the wind, the paint will actually come back after mayby 50 feet.

Hyperball in the mud is so damn fun. I did it once and the sliding was awesome, of course my jeans were covered in mud. Bloodhawk, just make sure you stay away from the mud on the front right side of the hyperball field by the pavillion (it's not mud).

Eh, today I had to ref in rain that was so hard you couldnt see accross the field. It is HORRIBLE FOR REFS!!! Now playing, eh, still, I had my flex 7 thermal on and I was fogging like a *****. Oh well, different strokes for different folks I guess.

I have played in Everything BUT Hail. I think the Rain Rulz. I played Speedball in the rain. due to the Excess water that was Litterally POORING into my gun I choped a couple balls but it still rocked.

Rain

Rain is fun sometimes. All accuracy goes to sh*t.

I played a little urban when it was pouring. I mean, like an inch of water in 5 min. It was like a shower, you could see solid streams of water.

Crazy

Rain is the only time my Spyder gets any use. Intimidators will make it through Rain no problem I've heard, but I'd rather not find out

Ah... another reason to love Tippmann's... Rain, Sleet, Mud We played in Rain/Thunderstorms a few weeks ago... ppl with the ported barrels hated it cause all they got was water inside and the paint shot terrible... oh, another reason to love my CP... not much porting on a 16" Barrel lol...

I hate the rain so I wouldn't play in it. Snow seems fun, but it dosnt snow where I live.

Playing in rain with a ported barrel is easy to fix. Just take the tube that the barrel came with when you purchased it and modify it so it fits over the barrel when playing.

never rain...

i'm not a "prissy" player... i'll get in the mud and dirt as the next frontman player would... but 'rain' constitutes closer exchanges and more bunker moves (as opposed to long-balling it) against the opposing team. your accuracy will go to $h!t due to possible marker problems and humidity levels...

furthermore, electronic markers don't like the rain either... i wouldn't gamble on a $2,300 set-up versus mother nature.

my two cents...

answer...

jt flex-7's with thermal lens... never fog... and if you still do? get the fan... don't know if it'll still function in the rain, though...
