Camp Zama MWR and BOSS just had the grand opening for their field on Sagami Depot. They are only having speed ball. They have rental guns and masks.Rental fee field/air $20, and paint fee I believe is going to be $60-$65 (Not to sure on this.)
There was a great turn out for new people that just tried playing for the first time and then there was also a great mix of experienced players too. They did a great job of trying to mix it up and not have only team to stacked that the rental guns were out numbered.
I am helping out MWR and BOSS. My name is Lee Nelson. I work on Camp Zama. We are able to sign people on Sagami depot so please don't let that hold you back from coming out to play. If you need to be signed on to Sagami Depot please call me at 080-4325-2422. I will be more then willing to come and pick anyone that lives close to Camp Zama or Sagami depot that don't know the way or I can Google map it for you.
Please don't hesitate to come out and play it will be a great experience for everyone.

Just a heads up not alot of people showed up last week. I think they had like 2 people come on Saturday and they were rentals. I was out there for a bit Saturday and Sunday but nothing happened while I was there. But I will be out there unless no one is there.

I got 18 people coming out to Tama on Saturday. If I ever figure out how to drive to Sagami from Yokota, I might set up a group trip there as well.

Make that 20 people. If you can map it for me, I'd appreciate it. I'll probably solo the drive just once to get the hang of it before I take people along. I got there my train last time I went... I just don't think it would be feasible to bring 20 people by train.

It would be easier than fitting 20 people in your car, I'd bet!
Be sure to bring your own lunch to the Sagami field (Bullseye Paintball), though there is a McDonald's somewhere on the facility.
There are also flush toilets and a shower at the gym two blocks away from the field, which is mighty nice. BDU'S are NOT allowed. Long sleeves are required.
One thing to note is that the staff is lacking in experience, which is a nice way of saying that none of them are paintball players. They are willing to take polite suggestions (they let us rearrange the field to our liking), and are without exception pleasant to deal with.
Also, it's worth noting that if you drive, expect that your car will get hit with a few balls, as the safety net is about HALF the height you'd think it should be. My gear bag sitting in the staging area took a few hits as well. The staff KNOWS this is an issue, but the decision making is a few steps above their pay-grade.
Field FPS is 260. The small staging area is covered, and has four picnic tables. There are a few benches as well. 20 players would just about max out the available space. 10 on 10 games are certainly feasible, if a bit crowded.
Please be sure to post up your impressions of the field after you play it.

That suck then, How come Zama can not do 300 like Tama? Maybe we can ask Ocheiit if he can see about changing it to 300, and you know we can always clean up the field. We can always go back a forth on those fields, maybe go down to Yoko too, just saying

I am working on that but I do not see a problem with going to 300 FPS if there are no rentals. We can also change the field to make it smaller too. It doesn't matter. The guy that runs the field Phil, he lets me kinda run the field how I want to run it. So give me a date and I will work with Phil and get something done. Was thinking of heading out to tama or zama this weekend and play but not sure where I want to play at.

Not a problem Once you enter Sagami depot it's like a straight shot to the PB field from the front gate. Follow the road and the field will be on your left. Or you can call me and I can met ya somewhere.
