Question An awesome tactic, or not?

I was thinking of a potentialy awesome tactic. As several men fallback, a few would stay behind and hide. When your enemy advances you would be behind enemy and could give your opponent a surprise attack. As they were seaking cover they would become vulnerable to your other teamats. Here is a diagram (keep in mind that I might have screwed it up).

it might work for newbies but you won't have a prayer against experienced players.....mike

to easy...... if the other team had more than one brain cell they wouldn't move their entire line up without cover or knowing where you are.

It's been done before but it'll only work if the field setup supports that tactic. You can forget trying this on small fields.

I bet I could get this to work, but only on a dense rec ball field and with two snipers with ghillie suits. Even then the snipers will need nerves of steel.

Umm, usually there aren't more than 15 on 15 on aggressive. Maybe on nonaggressive woods it would work. Aggressive are the higher level players by the way.

That would be great if the people didn't see you hide...or wonder why the 5 of you turned into 3...

On second thought, this is why I hate woodsball. Combing through bushes looking for hiding people.

It would work on a large woods field but its very, very unlikly it could be pulled off on speedball. Besides, you would need lke 10 on 10 and someone is sure to figure it out.

Ever hear?

Ever heard of a man called General Custer? Ask him if that tactic works or not!

thats funny... how did a quote get out if none of Genernal Custer's army survived except a horse named Charlamane? Custer tried to fortify a hill with his remaining men right before he was k.i.a. His troops where wiped out. No one could have taken a quote....

It's kinda like one of those "If a tree falls in the woods, and no one is around to hear it..does it make a sound?" things.

It could work at somefields though...like DIAGRAM

wwwwwwwwwww if w=woods and s=speed ball field.
