this worries me ...

okay, i see that ALOT of people get banned. and it worries me ...
for example, ill be looking in small talk "non related paintball discussion" hence the title. anyways someone will reply something like "my penis" (how will the person above you die) and they get banned. how ever they are not going against any of the forum rules ... unless they are. i just dont want to get banned for something small ... maybe some mods are "power hungry" or something.

all in all, whats with all the banning?

Because that is just ignorant spamming and there is a zero tolerance on stupid I think.
If you don't have anything nice to say, say it on the internet.

How do you know that that particular post is why they were banned?

Most people who are banned are banned for racist posts, swear filter, or spam.

There are no "power hungry" mods, most of them actually are annoyed at having to fill out a ban request. Most likely you think you know why they got banned and really don't. I have members AIM'ing me all the time griping about why a friend of theirs was banned, when the friend lied to them about why they were banned and who banned them. You guys have no way of knowing what goes on behind the scenes and usually make incorrect assumptions.
