b2sai.....yup...if wholesalers were to get that price (and they only get that price is if they order a specific number of the same item) i highly doubt they would sell it for less than MSRP. in order for them to get really big discounts they would hafta order a set number of the same product and since not that many people buy hi end markers due to the insane prices you would be basically alone on your purchase...which wouldnt help the retail store owner get a huge discount.
im not trying to discourage you in getting a hi end marker...but like anywhere else in the world...if you want something that out performs everything else you hafta pay the price....

no matter how expensive the marker is, it all depends on how good the player is ... just my two cents ...

this is the problem with most sports.... its all about how much money you spend.. just look at those olympic swimmers, runner etc.. they wear expensive clothes, fully lined designed to reduce water/air resistance to improve performance. I believe its also the same thing with paintball. You have to invest a lot in a good marker to improve your performance in events.
If only tournaments have a rule that sez mechanical markers only.. then it wil truly be all about skill, not the marker that counts.

it's like this... a player's skill would always be the most important aspect of his game... however if the equiptment that he uses are faulty or of low quality... then he would easily be held back from further improving himself...

ey glenn, thanks for the Plug! b2sai are you mike? the laws in economics somehow doesn't apply in paintball, i don't know why though. It's not true that we get half of the MSRP. I'm sure angel slayer and spyder130 knows that. We can only get around 20% more or less. If you really want to purchase cheap paintball products, the importer needs to fill-up a 20foot container. which cost over a million peso. with that big amount sure lugi na yung importer.
B2sai: for now i would suggest to stick with the tippy muna and try to put an electro trigger on it. it's a good marker naman and could keep up with any marker here since only a hand-full of players could really walk the trigger so don't habe to worry.
Mag-alala ka pag si glenn kalaban mo. 18bps ginawaga niya and still counting...

Thanks for the tipp Bauer.
btw, im not mike. hehe... im matt. I am in Canada ryt now so di uso mga tippy dito. lahat ng teammate ko mga shocker, impulso and angels gamit, ako lng yung may mechanical na marker. Medyo baguhan pa lng ako sa paintball but im planing to plsy in tourney once i get good. kaya nga naghahanap ako kung saan mura markers eh if possible. anyway, plan A failed so i just have to save up my money.

b2sai, some shops over the net offers great prices. sometimes naman great customer service. like countypaintball.com or better yet go buy a good second hand marker. but you have to check it first, learn the 411's on that particular marker before purchasing it. if you have marker questions, try browsing the whole forum here in pbnation. that could really help you out kung wala talaga you could ask us.

ei guys ... i was just browsing the net then i came up suddenly on armotech ... their paintball markers look like 1:1 replicas of M16 armalites ... but to think of it, it kinda looks funny with a viewloader on top of an armalite ... hahaha ... lolz

Problem with armotech... hindi sila allowed sa mga turney cause all of them go on full auto... saka performance-wise mas maganda parin ang mga speedball markers...

actually, the armotech's are great gun, accurate din sya like any other marker out there but the thing is you'll look funny in a speedball field, ok lang pag scenario and like tippman's electro trigger mabilis maging full auto but in terms of reliability anf performance, ok din yan.

If someone in Canada wants any paintball equipment, PM me ...I co-own a pro shop in Lake City FL.....Marker wise I recommend the impulse if you are trying to go into tourneys, for recball, check out the OGI or system X products. I play th PSP and NPPL circuit here in the states.....If you are a beginner, play with a tippmann or a spyder abd build up shooting skills and playing skills from there. Kids with high end guns always use the fast shooting guns as a crutch inplaying but they do not develop skills....I still play with a pump gun when I practice against players with high end markers....I win 80% of the time....I am still learning. " pakinggan ang experienciado."

i think b2sai's marker is ok already. i mean the tippman has a good performance just add an electro grip frame then it will be better. much better than a spyder. and it's very sturdy.
