Vision Impulse or Defiant

I am thinking of getting an impulse or a defiant. I have never shot a defiant but they look sweet. I have shot an Impulse and it is awesome. I just want to know some opinions on what you guys think, like from personal experiences and problems.

..hhuumm...

..I have not shot a Bob Long product either. I do like my Imp! If money AND support(for the marker) were no object, a Defiant would be in my thoughts. BUT, for the dollar...an Imp !!

Later, :

Thankyou, also, i guess that the defiant wont run co2 well will it? I will need to take buying a nitro tank into consideration if i decide on a defiant. If anyone else has any experience with these markers please post.

Hey there I have a defiant and my brother shoots an impulse. As far as looks go my defiants really takes the cake. Also the stock trigger on my defiant is miles ahead of the impulse. On the plus side for the imp you said you're interested in the vision so you wont chop any paint. Also consider that it takes me 5 minuets to clean my gun and over half an hour for the imp. You can run c02 on a defiant it just requires that you get a female palmers stabilizer and run tjat bottomline with an anti siphon c02 tank. Also don't try to run your imp on c02 without an anti siphon either my brother tried that and it sucked liquid like a mother. Good luck deciding, you'll be happy with either gun.

Thanks to both of you, very informative. Blackout, what color is your defiant? If anyone else has comments on these guns, post away.

my gun is a black and grey marble with blue splash. I like it alot better then the fades that come on the new defiants. If you want I'll send ya a pic of it.

Thumbs up

I would go with the impulse, because it runs very nicely on co2.
but that is just my opinion. I am getting impulse myself this summer.
